Aster After School Program
The Aster Initiative is an enrichment program for children from Pre-K to 5th grade and their families. We are an extension of the classroom deeply rooted in a holistic approach that goes beyond conventional educational methods. By incorporating the modalities and pedagogies of Bank Street, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia into its curriculum, Aster Initiative provides a robust framework for the development of each child. The Investment
Time commitment: 2pm – 6pm
$670 per student seat for 20 Days
Add On: $1040 half day coverage for 10 youth (or 6 UPK)
The Factors

- Minimum 10 students to participate
- Students must be added in increments of 10 students
- Class size maximum is 20 students
- Staff:Ratio is 1:10
- Students are grouped by grade. Must be only 1 year apart (i.e 3rd & 4th grade)
- Maximum capacity 6 classrooms
The exemption is UPK which classroom max is 12 and staff ratio is 6:1
Aster Summer Camp:
Where Exploration Meets Adventure!
Dates: July 9th – August 22nd, 2025
This summer, we’re taking exploration to the next level!
After a meaningful 2024 focused on community and the world around us, Aster Summer Camp 2025 will dive even deeper into the exciting worlds of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) and the Arts.
Field Day Fridays at Aster Summer Camp!
Every Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Aster’s campers will kick off the day with Field Day fun at the park!
Parents, please pack a cold lunch and a water bottle for your child each Friday so they can stay fueled and refreshed for all the activities.
Activities Include:

In case of inclement weather:
We’ll bring the fun indoors! Aster teachers will set up an obstacle course inside, along with music, dancing, and other creative activities.
Lunch & Snack Reminder:
During the summer, parents are responsible for providing both lunch and snacks each day for their child.
- Relay races & track and field events
- Water play and water balloon toss
- Potato sack races
- Soccer games
- Egg & spoon, water balloon & spoon races
- Tennis matches
- Fun obstacle courses (materials provided)
- Baseball and basketball
- Jump rope and hopscotch challenges
- Scavenger hunts (with water balloons!)
- Tie-dye t-shirt fun
